    Hi
Firstly I would like to say I love your u-tube videos. I am new at the bonsai hobby and find your videos great to watch and packed with information.
I recently thought I lost a small ficus bonsai. It was one of those horrible supermarket ones with the glued pebbles over the top. A beautiful ficus with great above ground thick roots and squashed in a small pot and then glued down.
I took to the rescue, removing unnecessary roots, and then trimming the branches to four, removing all the tiny foliage growing on the trunk.
It was doing great in its new bonsai pot and bonsai mix, wired and trimmed. I proudly sat it on my dining table with great filtered light. Unfortunately I forgot about the air conditioner which blasted for 3 hours directly onto my lovely creation. Sadly it lost 2 limbs and the leaves were droopy. I was watching one of your videos where you mentioned about the ficus being extremely hardy and also about spraying it with mist to create humidity. I placed it outside in a semi shade position (being summer now in Australia) and sprayed it with mist every morning. EXCITING NEWS IS: my beloved bonsai has signs of foliage re growth and the existing leaves have bounced back.
I just want to say that your videos have saved the life of my bonsai….thank you!
