This tree has never looked better than this. I cleaned the trunk last winter with some white vinegar to remove some mold. However it dried out a few fine branches along the trunk. So now I have the bare spot right in the middle. The nice thing about ficus is their ability to recover, so it won’t be long until I have a nice full canopy again. Sept 2006

Contro la muffa quindi hai usato l’aceto?
Perchè ho un bonsai di Camelia che ha fatto muffa nella terra (vicino al tronco) e non so come mandarla via..
Ho trovato che l’aceto funziona molto bene contro muffa
